Uruguay's Luis Suárez just sunk his teeth into Italy's Giorgio Chiellini at the World Cup. The scary part? This isn't the first time that Suárez has bitten an opponent on the football field. In fact, it's his third!
After biting PSV's Otman Bakkal on the shoulder in 2010, he was suspended for seven matches. In 2013, he received another 10 match-ban stemming from biting Chelsea's Branislav Ivanovic. Today, Twitter and Vine have exploded with people weighing in and helping us relive the first bite of World Cup 2014.
What's worse? Suárez by no means needed to bite his opponent. He did so in the 80th minute of the match, just moments before his team mate Diego Godin headed in the match winning goal.
Here are the Vines of Suárez sinking his teeth into Chiellini:
It's his third bite on the field since 2010. In comes the trend: SUAREZING.
Apologies all around for the "SUAREZING" bit. Sometimes, you just get caught up in the tackiness of it all.
And what does Suarez have to say for himself?
